The intimate shot is a minimally invasive treatment designed to improve female sexual wellness and intimate health by injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into targeted areas of the vagina and clitoris. PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood and contains growth factors that stimulate collagen production, blood flow, and nerve regeneration, promoting tissue healing and rejuvenation.   Patients ask about this type of treatment treatment in connection with decreased libido, stress urinary incontinence, dryness from menopause or from breast cancer treatment, and lichen sclerosis.
